Crates.io

We need this library to exist on Crates.io so that other projects that depend on it can in turn be published (and versioned) on Crates.io.

This is an anomaly within the Rust ecosystem. I understand it may not be 100% ready, but that doesn't matter. Strategies like Release 1.0.0 can be offered, and everything before that is considered beta and work in progress.

It is fantastic that the audio field is filling up with Rust, but these projects definitively become invisible and unusable the moment there is neither versioning nor distribution.

I understand the frustration, but the problem is baseview is kind of a buggy mess with fundamental architecture issues that no one has stepped up to maintain.

Right now baseview is more of a stop-gap until a better architected and better maintained plugin windowing library comes along, like Coupler: https://github.com/coupler-rs/coupler

Maybe the owner of baseview might consider just releasing a crates.io version anyway? It's their call though.
