video cutscenes support subtitles, just place a file with the .srt extension and same name of the cutscene video to activate it

.srt subtitles files are kind of famous, you can find many tutorials online; iirc even youtube uses them for their subtitles

I just want to ask, I checked FND,s files, for the song YOU ARE, (plus every other song that has a midsong cutscene) it uses something called "Video Cutscene" in the chart editor events page. When i check it in the latest version, its not there. Why did you remove the Video Cutscene event and how would i add a midsong cutscene now?

I have made, so the cutscene.hx file will first start the video (with a custom file) and then it will start a dialogue. How do I close the video on key press (and start the dialogue)?

Does the pause menu's "skip cutscene" option not work for you? If needed, you can check if the current subState is a type of VideoCutscene, and close that substate on its own when certain keys are pressed.

Just normal "close();" while "isVideoPlaying" seems to do the trick
